Program
8 premieres under the heading COMMON SENSES shift perspectives and reflect the status quo of our social interactions. Guests from philosophy and science stimulate our thinking with impulses. You can also expect a “kiosk of unfulfilled wishes”, a floating light-space installation, bar, music, DJs and appetizers in the Discourse Kitchen.
Audience members can experience several short monologues and specials in close succession each evening – we recommend day tickets for the best festival experience.

The AfD not only sits in parliaments, but also stands anxiously in the forest. While the activist ecology movement in the German-speaking world is currently largely progressive, the political right responds with actions and attacks, attempting to co-opt the issue for themselves.
The lecture reports on selected examples from recent years: violence against activists, false-flag attacks, and attempts to conquer political territory. These examples illustrate a parallel development of two strategies: on one hand, physical or digital violence against activists to intimidate them, and on the other hand, the co-optation of local concerns to engage in ideological expansion within the ecological sphere.
Arne Vogelgesang, who has been dealing with political propaganda on the internet for many years, also looks at future dangers that could emerge in response to technological accelerationism: radical “back to nature” programs, eco-fascism, and “eco-extremism.”
The lecture lasts about 60 minutes.

Since 2005, Arne Vogelgesang has been realizing art projects with the theater label internil and under his own name, experimenting with documentary material, new media, fiction and performance. One thematic focus of his work is political propaganda on the Internet, an aesthetic focus is human representation under digital conditions. He also gives talks and workshops on his research and conducts research on the connection between theater and VR.
